"Dr. Ryan was great. Our staff and clients loved her and the clinic barely noticed I was gone. I only wish I could hire her as a full-time associate!"

Overtime:

Overtime accumulates bills at a cost of 90/hr for the first two hours and $120/hr for any hours after. Clinics stipulate how they wish end-of-day or emergency appointments are handled that may initiate potential overtime hours.

Payment:
Payment is due at the end of each shift worked; if hiring for consecutive days, payment may be due at the end of contracted shifts. If consecutive days worked extend beyond 5 days, payment is due at each fifth shift interval.

Policies:
Prior to contact, please take a moment to review policies. Prior to the first shift worked it is recommended to fill a brief questionnaire regarding practice policies to allow Dr. Ryan to best accommodate practice protocols and wishes. The goal is to create a seamless and hassle-free transition for you, your staff and clients.

Feel free to reach out and contact with any questions or inquiries at any time.

Sorry, Dr. Ryan is not currently accepting relief shifts.

Continuity of Care:
I will attempt to follow in line with the standard of care for each individual practice; a questionnaire to be filled out prior to contracted work will provide a better understanding of how to best serve each clinic.

Dental Policy:
Performed based on clinic standard of care, technical staff support, instrumentation and mutually agreed upon practices. Dentals will not be performed on first shift scheduled with practice unless previously agreed upon.

     Dental procedures performed:

High-quality extractions with appropriate nerve blocks of all teeth including canines, molars and pre-molars and dental radiographic interpretation.

Surgery Policy:
Performed based on clinic standard of care, technical staff support, instrumentation and mutually agreed upon practices. Surgical procedures will not be performed on first shift scheduled with practice unless previously agreed upon.

     Surgical procedures performed:

Castrations, ovariohysterectomies, soft tissue mass removals, gastrotomy, enterotomy, resection and anastomoses, cesareans, cystotomy, entropion, stenotic nares correction, enucleations, laceration and soft tissue trauma repair, etc.

Comfortable utilizing CO2 laser during surgery.

Emergency and Critical Cases:

I am comfortable triaging and treating most veterinary medical emergencies. The policy questionnaire will allow me to better tailor handling of cases for each clinic in relation to referrals, avoiding overtime, hospitalization and so forth.

Medication Refills:
Will refill for any medications based on the accepted protocol for practice that are not scheduled/controlled; client and patient must have a valid relationship within one year at the practice.

I shall arrive to work for my shift on time and to strive to provide high-quality medicine and a positive experience for you, your clients and staff with as seamless of a transition as possible.

I have a friendly, upbeat attitude and strong work ethic.

Please review any policies and do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns.
